Fast Fashion Exhibition
Exhibition Design, Graphic Design, Infographics
Fast Fashion hosted by the MKG - Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg is an exhibition about the fashion industry and its dark sides. Besides designing the campaign and the catalog as well as the exhibtion typography and infographics, we were also comissioned to develop the concept of the exhibiton and displays, together with Jesko Fezer and the Studio for Experimental Design. The concept was enhanced and finalized by Jesko Fezer and the Kooperative für Darstellunsgpolitik.
The chapters consumption, economy and ecology structure the exhibition. The display concept referrs to the familiar language of the industry, broaching the issue of representation of fashion. A runway, a hollow setting, two advertising pillars, a shopping window, a clothes rail and a changing room display the diverse content, contextualising the gap between our consumption of fashion and its consequences.
